Julies quick response and 'can do' attitude stood out from her competitors from our first phone call when we contacted several wedding agencies in Mallorca to help with our wedding - and we were not disappointed. Organising our wedding abroad was relatively painless (considering it we had 170 guests and two nights of celebrations) and started with a few conversations about what we wanted from big day and a trip to Mallorca to meet with Julie to visit venues and suppliers etc. When embarking on a wedding abroad you could be forgiven for thinking that you could do everything yourself but looking back we now know that the wedding would not have happened without Julie. Only now do I know all the time, planning and effort that Julie had to put in to ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day of our wedding and the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes. There are so many things to organise and take into consideration that you have no idea about at the start and cannot possibly anticipate. Like every other couple we came across these 'complications' but Julie was always on top of them in no time no matter how big or small. I cannot recommend Julie more highly. She was always 100% professional but also a pleasure to work with and get to know along the way. Julie’s team were also just as professional and enthusiastic and I must say whenever nerves got tense Julie was always there to ensure that all was ok! Myself and my now husband Colin have nothing but fond memories of our wedding day, Mallorca itself and all the people we met along the way and hope to see again when we return. I cannot recommend Julie but also Mallorca more highly and our 170 guests and the wonderful time they had are testament to that! I never thought I would end up getting married abroad but our wet summers made the decision for me and I have to say that doing it abroad makes it so much more memorable for you both but also your family and guests who have the perfect excuse to leave everything behind and celebrate together away from home. We thought she was great!' We were so impressed by the standard of service at the venue; the food was incredible and we found all the staff to be absolutely lovely and really helpful. So all we have now are our memories, fortunately captured by our great friend Dennis. He took approx 2000 images over the 3 days and has whittled these down to 780. He has also produced a slideshow of the days' events which is very emotional to watch! We are planning to send a copy of the disc to all guests as a little thank you and would like to also send a copy to you. I came across “My Majorca Wedding” on the internet and thought it would be a great idea to set up a meeting. I was nervous about meeting Julie as being a control freak I thought that I could never hand over the orchestration of such an important day to someone else. However, upon meeting Julie I knew that she was a consummate professional and had complete faith that she would do a fantastic job, so much so that I decided to pay the full fee and have Julie and her team take care of the whole thing. It was the best decision I made (apart from accepting Chris’s proposal of course!) Julie walked me through every step, knew exactly what I wanted, listened to me with endless patience as I changed my mind a hundred times and always had everything completely under control, which when organising a wedding while doing a full time job is a god send and leaves you to concentrate on the other really important details – like a fabulous dress. Not having to research hairdressers, photographers, make up artists, florists, music is so great - such a relief especially in an unfamiliar country and everyone Julie recommends is fabulous. On the day we had absolutely nothing to worry about; all we had to do was relax and get ourselves ready for our big day. Julie and team were on hand the whole time, but always discreetly in the background. The day went off without a hitch and it was absolutely perfect. Julie and her team are exceptional and worth their weight in gold. Wedding budgets are hard to manage but I would say whole heartily if you are going to include anything - then this should be it. Good Luck "Well what can I say, I sit here ten days after my wedding feeling relaxed and more importantly still speaking to my groom! And I know the key reason for that is the team at My Majorca Weddings. When we suggested getting a wedding planner involved with our celebrations both my parents and groom were a little sceptical. But after I'd talked them through it all and after planning our first trip to investigate locations they were far more keen. And after our trip out to Mallorca to find venues and meet Julie for the first time, all of their initial scepeticism was washed away and frankly they wondered how we'd cope with out her! We choose to take out Julie's Gold Service which worked best for us as we wanted to find the right venue, right suppliers and also have the comfort of relaxing and enjoying the day (knowing the team were on hand). On the day and afterwards we have received the most amazing comments - the words fairytale, perfect, magical, most amazing, best ever and best organised have all been used to described our wedding and much of that sits with Julie. So sitting here today I can safely say that without her and her team's help a I'd have never been so relaxed the days before and on the day itself and I'm sure I'd have fallen out with my! Instead we could sit back, relax and enjoy the celebrations unfold and certainly not have any rows!
